Here it is, ladies and gentlemen: the new cover for the Canticles of Andurun book 2: Dragonmarch! Simple yet elegant, I enjoy the straight forward quality of the book cover Gillian came up with for me. For those who may disappointed that there is no drawn cover, Gillian may create a sketch inside the book for fans of the series; but she confided in me that she felt the drawn covers detracted from the sobriety and gravity of the story. She felt the covers too whimsical for the nature of the tales I am telling; that the story is too traditional or old-fashioned fantasy for the covers she was making. Do you agree?
